LOS ANGELES, April 26, 2016Studio71, the multichannel network of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, today announced it has signed top influencer, actor, musician and writer Flula Borg a.k.a. Flula, known for his original songs and creative, live remixes. Recognized by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter as a top comedian and winning Best Comedy Channel at the 2015 Streamy Awards, he has amassed nearly 765,000 subscribers and more than 84 million views.


Born and raised in Germany, Flula is known for his videos, where he comments on American culture he finds strange, his celebrity interviews, and his popular AutoTunes series, featuring live covers of popular tunes in his auto. His AutoTunes cover of “No Diggity” by Blackstreet with Chester See, has more than three million views and was nominated for a 2014 Streamy Award.  After releasing his single “Sweet Potato Casserole” in 2011, he was listed at #3 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart.  He has appeared in hit movies including Universal Pictures’ Pitch Perfect 2 and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, and won the 2016 Slamdance Festival with a feature film he co-wrote and stars in called BuddyMoon, set to release this summer in partnership with Gravitas.
